DataFort Releases Data Backup for ISPs

DataFort Ltd., a provider of managed offsite data backup, has released a backup service for broadband customers and home PC users: PC Fort.

DataFort says ISPs can provide their customers a backup solution built to the same security and reliability standards that it provides corporate users worldwide. DataFort will unveil the service next month at ISPCON Fall 2004 in Santa Clara, California

"ISPs have a choice of either bundling PCFort with broadband services or offering it through their customer Web portal,” says DataFort Founder and CEO Gavin Smith. “And for the duration of ISPCon, the service will have a special retail price of $0.99 per 250MB of information to be backed up.”
