Period
You have a 30 day trial period to use the service absolutely
free. You are then charged for the next 12 months of service
in advance.
How is the service charged?
After your 30 day trial, a reading is taken of the size
of your archive. You are then charged for that price
band of service.
Account upgrades
As the year goes on you may need more space in your archive.
If this happens you will receive an automated email giving
you the option of reducing your archive or paying for the
additional space needed.
Account downgrades
It is not possible to decrease the size of your account
within the billing year. At the start of your next billing
year you will be automatically charged for the lower archive
space if you have reduced the amount of data in the account.
What if my account falls below 500
mb?
If your account is below 500 mb at the start of any billing
year you will be extended for that year without any charge.
If during that year you increase your archive size above
500 mb you will be emailed with the option to reduce the
archive size or pay for the new price band for the remainder
of the year.
Does removing data from the backup
selections window
decrease the size of my backup?
Once a file has been backed up it is added to the amount
of space you have used. If you want to back up more information
without increasing your account size you will have to remove
old information from your backups. You will also have to
unselect it from the local backup selection window.
What is an Account on Hold?
You have reached capacity of your selected service limit
and backups will not occur until you have increased the
account capacity or removed old information from your backup
to free up space.
What is a suspended account?
Accounts will be suspended if you have reached the end of
your billing year and we have been unable to renew your
account with the available credit card details. This information
will be displayed on the daily backup report. At the termination
of your billing year the suspended account will be cancelled
and backed up data will be removed from the server.
How can I cancel an account?
To cancel the service select 'Submit Support Request'
from the Help pulldown menu. Indicate you wish to cancel
the service here. Clicking the Add Report button will time
stamp your request and send it to the PCFort support team.
